Coating Standard

AS/NZS 4534 — Coatings on Steel Wire

All wire used in our products is coated to AS/NZS 4534 — the Australian/New Zealand standard for zinc (Z) and zinc/aluminium-alloy (ZA) coatings on steel wire. Class and coating mass are matched to the specified environment.

Product Standard

AS 2423 — Coated Wire Fencing Products

Our finished fixed knot fence is built to AS 2423 — the standard covering coated steel wire fencing products for terrestrial, aquatic and general use. Mesh geometry, joint integrity and roll specs are verified per AS 2423.

Coating Option · Z

Hot-Dip Galvanized (HDG)

Pure zinc coating to AS/NZS 4534 — Class A or Class B coating mass. Cost-effective, proven choice for standard inland rural environments across Australia.

Coating Option · ZA

Zinc/Aluminium Alloy (Zn-Al)

Zinc/10%-aluminium alloy coating to AS/NZS 4534. 2–3× longer service life than HDG in coastal, humid or chemically aggressive zones. Recommended for NZ and coastal AU.
